9 Panel Drug Screening test checks for the presence of 9 types of drugs in the urine: amphetamines; barbiturates; benzodiazepines; cannabinoids (marijuana); cocaine; methadone; opiates; phencyclidine; and propoxyphene. The test uses a sophisticated test method, called an Enzyme-Linked Immunoassay (ELISA), and if it is positive it will be confirmed by another test called gas chromatography (GC) with mass spectrometry.
