The test includes Hepatitis B core antibody, Hepatitis B surface antigen, and Hepatitis B surface antibody. By including the Hepatitis B core antibody, the so-called "core window" is covered. The core window is a time period of Hepatitis B infection whereby the Hepatitis B core antibody may be the only marker for a Hepatitis B infection.
