Albumin also helps carry some medications and other substances through the blood and is important for tissue growth and healing.
Albumin test determines albumin levels in the body. Low albumin levels reflect a high possibility of liver disease wherein the body cannot absorb or digest proteins. High albumin levels usually suggest dehydration.
